USTA League Guidelines

The club's approach to USTA league is "play to win." The goal is to reach sectionals and beyond.

This is a competitive travel league. Home matches play out of Fairbanks only. We do not form teams out of BCCV.

Teams are approved by Paige Farmer. Captains are chosen 2-3 months before the season and must be approved by the director before a team can form.

If enough players are available, a second team may be formed, but not until the first team's roster is complete and confirmed.

Captains will determine the size of their rosters with the goal of maximizing play time but avoiding defaults.

Captains choose their players from rosters and decide line ups at their own discretion. Factors they may consider include, but are not limited to, USTA ratings, partnerships, ability to play singles, win/loss records, and the input of coaches and the director.

Because the club's approach is play to win, no one is guaranteed a spot on a USTA team and no one on a USTA team is guaranteed equal playing time.

USTA charges a $32 registration fee. The club charges a $30 fee. Once registration closes, there are no refunds for league fees.
