League Information
New Ladies Friday Doubles: Queen of the Court Format
This league will help you get out there playing your favorite sport and meeting new people!
League play is Friday's 10am-12noon
Intermediate+ levels welcome.
8 weeks of play with 3 matches a week = 24 matches total
$40/player charged to member account
League Rules:
Scoring for each match is Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Switch sides after each game; for rubber match, switch on 6 points. (This means you play a total of 3 games, switching partners for each game on your court only)
Participants sign up individually and play with a new partner each week for 3 separate matches (i.e. minimum 2 games to 11 per match, with potential for up to 3 games per match)
Team pairings will be randomly selected each week from among the pool of registered players and posted prior to day of play on event calendar. This will be from your win/loss record from the previous week
There will be a 10 min warm up before the match. Players should arrive on time or they give up their right for warm up. First point should be played at 10:10am. Second match starts promtly as you are playing same players on your court, no warm ups after first match.
USAPA rules of play apply.
If you are scheduled to play and cannot attend, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find a sub. Contact info for subs and league players are available on your league's homepage under "Contact List" link at the top OR you can follow link labeled "Send Email" and it will email/text everyone in the league. IF you find your own sub you will NOT be charged!!!!
**If you fail to find a sub and do not attend it is a no-show which will result in a $25 penalty charge and you could be subject to being removed from the league. If you also ask me to find a sub for you, it will incur a $25 fee as well.**

Participants cannot book courts prior to the league for warm-up. If you arrive early and a court is open, you may use it, but please be courteous and allow other members to book courts for social play outside of league bookings.
