After several emails between the two clubs, it was determined that LBC could staff 4 courts while HCC could not staff any. It seems there might have been some ill will since our club initiated the inquiry re: a possible conflict with the RCRL luncheon being on this day. As it turned out, we had enough players but HCC did not and they would have preferred that we reschedule this match. This should possibly be addressed by the captains at the annual meeting to set the next season's schedule. If all are in agreement, this particular week should be left out of the play schedule.After several attempts to get the match with Owl Creek rescheduled, they decided that they didn't really want to make up the rained out match. Annie gave their captain a second chance to see if they could come up with enough players to play and they could not. Therefore, LBC took all 20 points for that unplayed match.
